Penang, July 8 – There has been several issues concerning Indians in Malaysia sprouting out at various locations in the recent times – from the land issues of High Chaparral and Kampung Sungai Buloh/KTM to the increase in criminal related issues involving Indians and job issues…..
| Samy Vellu who had promised to hit the roads to “shoot down” all Indian problems in Malaysia two years ago seemed to have fizzled out…If he had hit the road two years ago in JB, he would have reached Bukit Kayu Hitam on foot by now. He might not have shot down all the problems, hell, he might have even created some problems, but at least, he would have known that the Indians are having problems. The man with the strangest hairdo in Malaysia was not seen at any of the issues that are mentioned above….A resident of Kampung Buah Pala, A. Haredoo said that he expected Samy to swoop down (but without a cape or an inverted underwear) and relieve the suffering of all the residents in the kampung, but alas, nothing happen.. |
He added that the government should set up a committee and look into looking for Samy. Though there might be some strong opposition to this committee being formed, because some people might want Samy to stay lost – but as fellow Malaysians, we cannot stand still and do nothing. Haredoo added that they can call the committee “Where are you Samy?” committee and they can start by putting up pictures of our Samy all over the country. It will also be a good idea to put his pictures up in the outlying islands too, because god knows which hole Samy is hiding in.
When Petai contacted some government officials for their views on finding Samy, they said “Yes, yes, we need to find him..there are a few roads that has been paid for while he was the works minister, but the roads has gone missing… we don’t know where the roads are”.
Apparently not only are the villagers looking for Samy, the government is too. All Petai can say is, good luck Samy…
